When pampered heiress Simone Duvalier sashays back into Rafael Alexander’s life, Rafe can’t wait for her to head back to France where she belongs and leave him to his empire-building in Australia. He’d believed in her once but not any more. Loved her once too but those days were over. All that remained were unwanted memories and a compulsion to bed her that he would not surrender too.

Simone has never forgotten Rafael, the housekeeper’s unloved, unwanted, fiercely ambitious son, or the hold he once had on her heart. Making amends isn’t easy. Gaining his trust is next to impossible, but she is making headway.

Until a princely secret threatens to destroy his fragile trust in her forever…

Dear Reader

In my last book, Exposed:  Misbehaving with the Magnate, I wrote Gabrielle and Lucien’s story, and fought hard to keep Gabrielle’s brother Rafael off the page.  Not because he was bad, but because if I’d given him any leeway whatsoever he’d have dominated the story and captured my heart – and I couldn’t have that.  It wasn’t his story.

In Revealed:  A Prince and a Pregnancy Rafe’s been allowed full rein – and reign he does.  Emerging from a cold and traumatic childhood, Rafael is an enigmatic, driven man with a clear moral compass, a closely guarded heart, and a steely determination to protect those few people he loves.

The last person he wants to see at his sister’s wedding is bridesmaid Simone Duvalier, who witnessed so much of his childhood humiliation and broke his heart as a young man.  But Simone brings acceptance and understanding with her, along with revelations guaranteed to turn Rafael’s world upside down.

Simone and I gave Rafael a very hard time.  There’s no denying that.  We shattered his present.  We forced him to re-examine his past.  We forced upon him a future he wasn’t ready for.  But we also lost our hearts to him in the process, and I hope you will too.

Warm wishes,

Kelly Hunter

“The man who’s always left her wanting more!”

Good job? “Tick.” Newly purchased apartment? “Tick.” Evie’s life is on a pretty even keel at the moment. The only thing missing? A man with an edge to keep things interesting.

Enter Logan Black. Tortured, distant and sexy, Logan has edge written all over him. He’s also the man who tipped Evie “over” the edge a few years back – she gave him everything, but he didn’t know when to stop taking.

Leaving Logan was the hardest thing Evie’s ever done. Until now. Because Logan’s back, the chemistry is as blistering as ever and this time he’s not going anywhere…

Dear Reader,

When it comes to reading and writing romance, I like my heroine smart, my heroes hot, the settings interesting, the story engaging, the romance intense and I do like to have a laugh.  Bonus points if the story makes me cry.  Harlequin’s new KISS series promises all that and more – in short contemporary romance form.  There will be four new KISS stories out each month, starting February 2013, and I’m thrilled that The One That Got Away is part of the launch lineup.

The One That Got Away is a reunion romance, of sorts.  When Logan Black walked out on Evangeline Jones all those years ago he thought he was doing the right thing.  He probably was.  But now he’s back and Evie’s grown into a strong and confident woman who knows what she wants, and she has never stopped wanting Logan.  All she has to do is persuade him to give her a second chance…

Forbidden desire

Seven years ago Gabrielle was the housekeeper’s daughter, and Luc Duvalier, as the heir to a vast fortune, was forbidden! One hot kiss got Gaby banished, but she’s returned home determined to face Luc as an equal – in every way!

Unleashed passion!

The heat between them is all-consuming, and they both know it is only a matter of time before they give in – despite the scandal this will cause. But this maverick magnate doesn’t care – he aims to keep Gaby so busy that she never leaves again!

Dear Reader,

I found the setting for this story on my way back from the Netherlands to France via the back roads.  The history of this part of Europe captivated me:  the castles and the caves, the churches and the cafés…My stepsisters, born and raised in this part of the world, delighted in bringing the cultural details alive for me.  I had my setting.  I had my characters.  I had a smart, sophisticated tale of true love all lined up.

I never dreamed that when I returned to Australia and finally began to write out would pour a simple coming home story.  Oh, I love coming home stories-don’t get me wrong, Barbara Samuel’s superbly written No Place Like Home saw to that.  But where was my smart, sophisticated tale, rich in all those cultural details I’d collected?  Could it really be that the most joyous moment of a fascinating trip came at the very end, when I walked through the doorway of my home and into the arms of my family?

Yes.  Yes, it could.

Write what you know.  I’ve heard that before.  Not always practical when writing about heiresses and princes and billionaire tycoons.  Not always practical when your childhood was wonderfully ordinary and life is better than fine.  Sometimes what you know simply isn’t enough, and you have to imagine the rest.  I imagined plenty when it came to writing this story, but there was one truth I clung to-one vivid and powerful emotion that made this story real for me.  I wanted my heroine to find her way home.

Happy reading!

Shh…it’s a secret!

Special ops expert Trig Sinclair is a man’s man, and that means he knows the cardinal rule of the bro code—no matter how dynamite Lena West is, as his best friend’s younger sister, she’s strictly off-limits!

But when a secret mission to Istanbul sees Lena and Trig pretending to be married (and sharing a bed!), he finds himself in a whole new world of sweet torture…. But if Trig thinks playing the honor-bound hero is tough, it’s got nothing on how Lena feels when she discovers what her “groom” is really hiding…

Dear Reader,

I love writing connected stories.  I’m particularly fond of exploring the dynamics between siblings and how those dynamics change when siblings start bringing partners into the family unit.  It’s fun.  Sometimes there’s conflict.  Sometimes I break out the popcorn.

What the Bride Didn’t Know is the third book in the West Family series, and I’m thrilled to finally be bringing Lena’s story to readers.  Lena and Trig have been friends since childhood and he’s such an integral part of her life that Lena doesn’t dare risk seducing him in case it all goes wrong.  Until she loses her memory in a foreign land a long, long way from home and then all bets are off.

The other stories in the West Family series so far are:

Ruby’s Relationship Rules…

Ruby Maguire is done with being jerked around by men. Now she just needs to know three things about a potential bedmate: his name, where he’ll be in a week’s time and what it is he wants from her.

Damon West knows plenty about subterfuge and secrets, and nothing about being truthful with women. But Ruby demands honesty between them so Damon gives her as much as he can: I’m Damon West. I’ll be leaving Singapore in a week. And I want you to touch me.

At least, that was the intent…but something’s telling normally bulletproof Damon that one week with Ruby might not be so easy to recover from…
